Hit the road and make mountains, lakes, and valleys your office for the day. Enjoy one hour appointment times, providing low stress service to pets of the Kootenays. No on-call/emergencies, no surgery, no weekends (there may even be an option to work some days from home)!

We are an independently-owned practice that strives to provide the highest level of patient care, in the most comfortable manner for pets and people. Our practice sees a range of cases, including puppy and kitten vaccines, medical work ups, dermatology consults, and palliative and end of life care. Our clientele is motivated, and compliance is high. Because of this, our treatment plans (and the results that come with them) are extremely gratifying.

We are looking for someone that shares our values, has exceptional client communication skills, and can work independently and creatively. Experience in the veterinary field is an asset, as this position may include providing reception coverage from home, and requires technical skills, such as drawing blood and placing catheters. In addition, our next team member is ideally not prone to car sickness, and has a BC Driver’s license.

We are looking for a veterinary technician/assistant to work 2 days/week (approximately 9 hrs/day) on the road in appointments with our doctors, and 1 day/week (approximately 5-6 hrs) working reception from home. Wages above industry standard, dependent on experience. We offer 4 weeks paid vacation plus 5 sick days/year, plus bi-annual bonuses. We close for 2 weeks over Christmas, and we do not work on our birthdays or Halloween!
