Responsible for operating light duty equipment and labour work as assigned by Assistant Managers in a safe and competent manner. This position will support the day-today work to supplement winter operations. Term position anticipated to be from October 27, 2025 to March 13, 2026. Hours up to 40 hours per week and may include on-call shifts afternoons, evenings, weekends and nightshifts. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Assistant Manager- Operations, this role operates light equipment including but not limited to loader, trackless and trucks, with or without snow plow attachments. The Supplementary Operations Worker will perform labour in completion of a variety of duties including road maintenance and snow and ice control to supplement winter operations. Qualifications The successful candidates will have completed Grade 12 or GED, have a BC Driver’s Licence Class 5 with Air Brake Endorsement, and the ability to operate assigned equipment. This is a CUPE 2262 position offering $37.38 per/hr plus 10% in lieu of benefits.
