Position Summary:
As an Experienced Carpenter at DJM Contracting Ltd. you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks related to construction, remodeling, and finishing. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will work on both residential and commercial projects, helping to build and install wood structures, frames, cabinetry, and other wood-based components.

Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and assemble wood materials for various projects, including framing, roofing, cabinetry, and flooring.
Install and repair windows, doors, stairs, molding, trim, and other carpentry components.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete projects accurately.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Work closely with other tradesmen (plumbers, electricians, etc.) to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
Ensure all work is completed to high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to meet project goals.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes.
Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other carpentry equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
