Skate Patrol
Job Description
Under the direction of the Recreation Programmer, Skate Patrol supervise patrons, set up and put away equipment and distribute skate rentals during public skate times.
Skate Patrol must be friendly, enjoy dealing with the public and work well in a dynamic, fast paced workplace.
The position requires excellent personal and communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a group
REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
• 16 years or older
Ability to ice skate with confidence
Strong verbal communication skills, including excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated team work and leadership abilities
• Satisfactory Criminal Record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Standard First Aid Certification
This is a term auxiliary posi on working up to 24 hours per week. This term position will commence on August 19, 2024 and run until March 31, 2025. The normal hourly rate is $17.40 with a range from $17.40 to $18.90 based on experience.
