Job description

As a Registered Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to:

• Processing and preparing prescriptions.
• Performing final checks on prescriptions including pill packs
• Counselling patients on the use of medical devices
• Assisting patients in person and over the phone
• Collaborating with other Health Care Professionals including Pharmacists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists, Care Aides, and Support Workers

The successful candidate will be a registrant with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, and will have:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills (experience with Kroll Pharmacy Software is an asset).
• Problem solving skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience level of the successful candidate.
