Job Description
The City of Trail is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill a temporary full-time Recreation and Facilities Attendant 2 position in the Parks and Recreation Department. The term of this posting is expected to be five months commencing on February 5, 2025. The Recreation and Facilities Attendant 2 participates in the operation of the City’s parks and recreational facilities and requires excellent customer service skills along with an aptitude for janitorial, maintenance and event production.
Required certifications include:
- Refrigeration Operator certification, or equivalent, as recognized under the BC Pressure Vessels and Boilers Act
- Pool Operator Levels I and II certification
- RFABC Ice Making certification
- Building Service Worker/Janitorial certification including WHMIS training
- Valid BC Driver’s License

This position is within the CUPE Local 2087 Bargaining Unit and will involve evening and weekend work. Wages ($37.00 per hour) and benefits are as per the Collective Agreement.
