Job Description

Responsible for organizing the information required for charge approval, court appearances, court dispositions and maintaining a continuing liaison with the Courts, Federal & Provincial Crowns.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Detachment Commander or Delegate, the Court Liaison Clerk schedules court dates, swears information, communicates outcomes and maintains court records.

This position also conducts searches for subjects and vehicles, operates the telephone and radio systems, and provides advise and assistance to the public, including explaining and interpreting rules, regulations and general policy.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Certificate or Diploma in Applied Business Technology or similar education, a BC Drivers Licence Class 5. five or more years’ experience in a similar position with the RCMP is desirable and ideally has Police Enhanced Level Security Clearance.

This position is a CUPE Local 2262 position with an attractive hourly rate of $39.34 (2024 rate) and excellent benefit package upon successful completion of probation.
