
Program Leader
Job Description
The RDKB is currently seeking applications to fill two casual Program Leader positions in Grand Forks. Typically working on Fridays, Program Leaders will lead engaging activities for children, ensuring they are safe and happy. In this role, the Program Leader will:
- Supervise and participate in programming activities with participants of all ages.
- Build positive relationships with participants, parents, other staff members, facility staff, and the community
This is a great Friday job for high school students looking to gain work experience in a fun, active environment! To be considered, applicants must have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Past experience working with children in a supervisory manner
- Ability to collaborate with others and thrive in a team-first environment
The following certifications or experience would be considered an asset (not mandatory, but preferred):
- Volunteer coaching and/or officiating experience
- WHMIS Certificate
- Standard First Aid
- Leader Training such as “Run, Jump, Throw, Wheel”, and “High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development”
- Bronze Medallion and/or Bronze Cross

Compensation: $22.50 per hour (2025 rates) + 10% in lieu of benefits
