Red Mountain Resort is hiring Part Time Professional Ski Patrol for Night Ski/Ride shifts Thursday to Saturday 4:30pm to 8:30pm.

 Essential Duties and Skills:

• Administer professional and courteous on-slope first aid and transportation of injured guests
• Participate in safety meetings, daily run openings, closures and sweeps.
• Report to Dispatch on mountain conditions to ensure guest safety.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Procedures as per Red Mountain Policies.
• Must interact well within a team environment under pressure and in stressful situations
• Must be able to ski at a professional level in all weather conditions in a controlled and confident manner.
• Perform other duties related to the position.
• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting/carrying heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid ticket, Peak Emergency Response Training’s NUEC3, NUEC Advanced or WSBC OFA3, Advanced Protocols are an asset.  Wilderness First Aid is not accepted.
• CAA L1 Avsar or CAA L1 Operations are an asset.
• If the successful candidate moves on to day shifts they must be willing to provide a criminal record check for Explosives Use Screening Approval; a current PAL takes the place of the Approval Letter.
• Solid knowledge of Red Mountain Resort terrain is an asset
• Demonstrate willingness to help out and to go beyond the routine duties of the position.

The successful candidate must be available to work Thursday to Saturday 430pm to 8:30pm.
