Job Description
Roles, Responsibilities & Qualifications
■ Work hours: M-F 09.00-12.00 h
■ Reports to and updates a Board of Directors
■ Works as an integral team member with the Board of Directors
■ Schedules and oversees work by contractors
■ Participates in minor daily cleaning activities. Major cleaning is done by another contractor
■ Participates in interviews for new tenants
■ Manages building garbage & recyclables
■ Manages tenant move-ins and move-outs
■ Uses a Property Information Management System
■ Maintains records and drafts cheques
■ Has experience with or aptitude to learn MS Word and Excel
■ You will be employed as a contractor
■ Training will be provided
The Office/Building Administrator must have respect for and an understanding of the elderly, good communication skills, an ability to keep information and interactions confidential, show good problem solving skills and a willingness to carry out policies as set out by the Board of Directors. The Office/Building Administrator must have good office administration skills and will take direction from the board. Previous experience in building management and/or working with the elderly would be an asset.
Applicants must be willing to complete a Police Information Check –Vulnerable Seniors, PIC-VS
(a.k.a. Criminal Records Check).
