Popov Leather is a family-owned business that designs and manufactures hand made leather goods with a focus on maintaining superior craftsmanship and quality. Since our first product in 2013 we have rapidly expanded to become one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing artisanal leather goods manufacturers.

We specialize in producing and selling high quality leather goods such as wallets, book covers, belts, and watch straps. Our workshop is consistently busy, interactive, growing, and taking on new challenges.

What you’ll do:

The Production Assistant will be responsible for manufacturing leather goods and helping aid production within the workshop. We are hiring for two positions with your choice of day or night shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cutting and assembling leather products using workshop tools
• Safely operating workshop tools and machinery
• Assisting with additional tasks throughout the workshop as necessary
• Cleaning and maintaining facility tools and machinery

What you’ll need:

Relevant previous experience is helpful, but we are a people first workshop and can train the right people to learn our specific skills.

Applicants should possess the following key assets:

• Organizational skills and Attention to detail
• Able to work independently and within a group
• Able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, noisy work environment and be accountable to deadlines and expectations
• Able to adapt and embrace change in a product development & manufacturing setting
• Be a positive contributor to an open and friendly workplace culture

• Entry-level wage of $20/hr with increases based on consistent performance reviews
