We’re currently looking for a motivated lawn care specialist to join our mowing team and help keep our clients’ properties looking their best.

Job Description:

As a lawn care specialist you will be responsible for performing routine lawn maintenance services, primarily mowing residential and commercial properties within the community.

This is a physically active, outdoor position that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

This position is available immediately.

– Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers and other lawn care equipment.

– Mow, edge, and trim lawns to ensure a clean and professional appearance.

– Preform basic maintenance on lawn care equipment, cleaning, refuelling, and blade checks.

– Follow daily route schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner.

– Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

– Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

– Ability to work early mornings and flexible hours.

– Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

– Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

– Basic mechanical skills or willingness to learn.

– Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and operating machinery and working in the heat of Kootenay’s summers.

– Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

– May-October (End date is weather dependent)

– Monday- Friday

– Weekends off

– All Statutory Holidays off

Pay: $19.75-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
