We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter and/ or Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks that require precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in carpentry and construction, including experience with various materials and techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
• Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, concrete and finish work.
• Assist in construction painting to enhance the visual appeal of completed projects.
• Assemble various structures and components according to specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting as necessary during project execution while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
• Experience in construction painting, cabinet installation, flooring installation, and assembly is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members on-site.
