School District No. 20 (Kootenay-Columbia) is looking for casual employees for the On-Call List for Indigenous  Inclusion Support Employees.

Casual staff can expect to work 3 to 5 days a week; however, casual work cannot be guaranteed.

Individuals looking to work in a rewarding team environment all across our School District (Rossland, Trail, Fruitvale, Castlegar, Robson) with the likelihood of attaining a permanent position in the future should apply immediately!

Qualifications

• Indigenous ancestry required
• Completion of an Education Assistant one-year certificate program, which includes a practicum, or equivalent combination of recent training and experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with First Nations/Inuit/Metis youth, cultures, and organization

Job Details

• Rate of Pay:  $30.60/hr + 13.4% in lieu of benefits = $34.70/hr
• Indigenous Inclusion Support Employees have winter break, spring break, and summer off!
