SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS

• Team oriented

• Efficient methods for the stocking and rotation of perishable products

• Impeccable attendance & punctuality; ability to clock-in/out accurately

• Knowledge of whole, natural, and organic foods

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop and maintain favorable relations with customers, staff, and vendors

• Cooperative, respectful communication skills

• Ability to approach problems with a positive attitude and have creative, constructive solutions on hand

• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner

• Flexible in the face of variable work requirements, able to maintain high level of productivity.

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excellent customer service skills

• Stock product

• Ensure grocery, bulk, cooler and freezer departments of the store are well rotated, fronted, faced and cleaned at all times

• Provide excellent customer service to member and non-member shoppers

• Monitor perishables and near date products and take appropriate actions to minimize loss

• Follow proper back stock procedures (block, condense, rotate, etc.)

• Create and maintain visually appealing monthly displays to promote product specials
