Position Summary:

The Engineering Technician I will play a pivotal role in collecting technical field data, compiling accurate information, and actively contributing to the preparation of engineering drawings. They will serve as a key source of technical information for municipal staff, utility companies, and the general public. Engaging in field surveys for municipal projects, the candidate will ensure the precision and completeness of data. Additionally, the role involves assisting with field inspections to guarantee compliance with municipal regulations and bylaws. The successful candidate will bring attention to detail, technical proficiency, and effective communication skills to this dynamic position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to municipal projects while upholding regulatory standards.

Essential Qualifications:

Grade 12 or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized institution Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License
6 months recent related experience

Compensation: $34.00/hour

Hours/Days: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm.
