Teck is looking for an experienced Electrician Journeyperson to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world’s largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.

This role is based in the welcoming community of Trail, situated in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Here you will find outdoor adventure at your fingertips! Whether it’s biking and skiing, or the laid-back atmosphere of fishing and hiking, there is something for everyone.

Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail. British, Columbia. Relocation assistance may be offered however there is no camp or company housing.

Responsibilities:

Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
Maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial electrical systems

Qualifications:

Inter-Provincial Red Seal Endorsement (Electrician)
Preference given to those with related industrial maintenance experience and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
Must have professional, diligent approach; be comfortable working independently and with a team; and be able to demonstrate the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, with great attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Valid class 5 driver’s license
