Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design and Implement Data Architectures: Create scalable and efficient data architectures that support our business needs.
  • Integrate Data Sources: Seamlessly integrate various data sources to provide comprehensive and actionable insights.
  • Develop Data Analysis Algorithms: Craft sophisticated algorithms that help in deriving meaningful patterns from complex data.
  • Create Reports and Automate Processes: Develop insightful reports and automate manual processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with executives, stakeholders, and departments to understand and translate business requirements into data solutions.
  • Manage Data Platforms: Ensure the integrity, availability, and compliance of our data platforms with governance policies

What you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in data engineering or related roles, that has resulted in a strong understanding of database systems, data integration, and algorithm development.
  • Expertise with MS SQL development and administration.
  • Significant experience with data warehousing technologies and Business Intelligence platforms and the integration thereof, ideally MS Azure, PowerBI and related Microsoft cloud systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, strong customer service orientation with an ability to excel in a complex, dynamic, and rapidly changing technological and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to analyze existing or proposed business system requirements and to design practical solutions including the ability to write clear technical documentation
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with keen attention to detail, along with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
