Job Description
Columbia Basin Trust is seeking a Manager, Commercial Property. This position is responsible for the management of a regional portfolio of Trust-owned properties including general property management, building operations, maintenance and repairs, tenant relations, financial management and supporting new building ownership opportunities. If you have experience managing commercial properties with skills in lease negotiation and management along with construction project management, we want to hear from you! This is a regular, full-time position based out of any of our four offices: Castlegar, Cranbrook, Nakusp or Golden.
The salary range for this position is $98,100 – $115,300.
Reporting to the Director, Investments and Economic Development, the successful candidate will:
- Perform general commercial and investment property management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tenants.
- Coordinate and support all corporate building operations.
- Maintain long-term budgeting for all commercial investment and corporate properties.
We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance with a minimum of five years of commercial property management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in a related field. Real estate/property management education or certifications are an asset. The successful candidate must have a valid class 5 Driver’s License and the ability to travel frequently within the Basin area.
