Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Certified Journeyman Industrial Electrician in Grand Forks. Starting rate for this position is $48.895 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations.
• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of sawmill, planer and kiln hot oil system electrical equipment and controls.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and repair PLC and HMI systems.
• Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.

What You Offer

• Must be a Red Seal certified journeyman industrial electrician (BC/IP).
• Must have Allen Bradley PLC experience, Motion Control and the ability to troubleshoot VFD drives, Optimizer Systems, and Scanners.
• Strong safety background.
• Be a positive contributor to a team.
• Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
• Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
• Must have good computer skills.
• Must be willing to work swing or alternate shifts, as required.
• FSR qualification would be considered an asset.
