We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team at Happy Gut Water Kefir Brewery. This is a hands-on role in our production facility, focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient brewery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure exemplary cleanliness and organization throughout the production area, following strict HACCP sanitation protocols
• Assist with forward production planning, inventory management, and data recording
• Safely operate equipment and machinery for brewing, bottling, and packaging
• Lift and move heavy materials and supplies as needed, up to 50 lbs
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including tanks, equipment, floors, and work surfaces
• Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control procedures
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to changing production schedules as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in food industry is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols
• Comfortable with physical labor, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
• Foodsafe and WHIMIS certification required once hired
• Drivers license and reliable vehicle required for periodic deliveries
