Who we are
The Skills Centre for Health Sciences is a multidisciplinary training facility for healthcare trainees and professionals in Atlantic Canada.
The state-of-the-art facility provides students, residents and staff with easily accessible opportunities to teach and practice basic and advanced skills outside of the clinical setting. Through simulated learning environments, healthcare professionals perfect their skills while learning to work effectively and efficiently as part of an interprofessional team.
Improved patient care and safety is a direct result of the hands-on healthcare education and training provided by the Skills Centre.
