Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Instruction all levels of Welding Apprenticeship and Foundation programs

High school graduation or equivalent Welder Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement Minimum five (5) years of experience working in the industry as a Red Seal Welder Computer literacy in word processing, electronic mail and appropriate software applications Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset Demonstrated curriculum development skills is an asset Provincial Instructor Diploma (PID) program or BC Teaching Certification is an asset *An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

This is a non-regular, on-call commencing August 19, 2022. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the BCGEU Collective Agreement. The salary range is $2,416.46 - $3,882.99 (at a 100% appointment) bi-weekly based on qualifications and experience.
