Main Duties and Responsibilities

Operation and maintenance services for the Metal/Wood and Mechanical/Electrical Trade Program Tool Rooms Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Demonstrate the initiative and dedication to provide a quality and motivated learning environment Desire to becoming a member of a highly motivated Selkirk College team Excellent communication, team work, and time management skills Computer literacy in word processing, electronic mail and appropriate software applications Knowledge of procedures in purchasing and receiving materials, tools, equipment, supplies and processes used in Millwright, Machinist, Welding, Electrical, Heavy Mechanical, Fine Woodworking, Carpentry and Plant Operator. Education and Experience

High school graduation or equivalent Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification Valid BC Driver’s License WHMIS certification Additional desirable assets include a relevant red seal trade qualification This is a casual/ on-call position commencing August 19, 2022, salary will be Pay Grade 8 -$29.16 in accordance with the PPWC Collective Agreement.
