The Information Services Division are technology leaders, planning and delivering successful solutions with information management and information technology (IM/IT) services to both the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction and the Ministry of Children and Family. The division also provides IM/IT resource planning, decision-making, project and issues management, security and privacy functions, and desktop support. As a Technical Analyst, you will plan and manage infrastructure technology solutions across multiple platforms, program areas and a variety of systems environments, including configuration, installation and integration services. Create technical documentation, serve as subject matter expert, technical owner or backup for different internal processes as assigned.

Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below: Education and Experience:
Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field AND one (1) year of *related experience OR; Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science or related field AND three (3) years of *related experience OR; Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum six (6) months of experience with software development life cycle (SDLC)
*Related experience MUST includes one or more of the followings:
Experience in supporting a large, complex, multi-stakeholder, enterprise IT environment maintaining mission critical systems. Experience evaluating technology architectures and new technologies specific to infrastructure. Experience with electronic certificate services and/or Digital Certificate Services (DCS). Experience with Security Incident and Event Management including privileged account management. Experience with technical documentation writing
Preference may be given to applicants:
Experience of MS Office 365, MS Power Platform (BI, Apps, Pages, Automate, Virtual Agent) Experience with providing expertise, guidance, and assistance concerning software licensing direction, issues, and implications to IT professionals. Experience with the following systems: iStore and MySC (Service Now) Experience in BC Government Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (ie. TOGAF)
