Technical Analyst - On-Call
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the operational integrity of all hardware, operating systems, core components and application software Provide support for College audio visual equipment including use, maintenance, troubleshooting, user training and setup Provide network user support and instruction as well as software/hardware analysis, maintenance and support Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Proficiency working in Novell and Microsoft environments Demonstrated ability setting up and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multi-tasking environment Experience with Apple computing environments, MacOS operating systems and centralized management of them using Apple solutions is considered an asset Education and Experience
2 year Diploma in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years related industry experience Experience in an educational institution preferred *A full Job Description is available from HR upon request.
This is an On-Call position commencing from July 18, 2022, and ending on March 31, 2023. The salary is pay grade 9 - $30.30 per hour - in accordance with the PPWC Collective Agreement.
