Selling Branch Manager
Brandt Tractor Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Selling Branch Manager in our Castlegar location. Reporting to the Division Manager, the successful candidate will responsible for managing all daily branch activities, and must be a highly motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
Achieve sales growth and profitability in all areas of the branch Manage and develop all employees in the branch with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce that is focused on the long-term success of the company, customers, and employees Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures Manage branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit Sell new and used whole goods product within the designated sales territory Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner Keep current on product knowledge and equipment Sell parts and service offerings within the designated sales territory Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets. Included but not limited to new and used wholegood inventory. Achieve Market Share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company. Other duties as assigned
Required Skills Must have experience in the heavy equipment sales field Proven product support background and understanding of the departmental operations A demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff A strong work ethic, combined with a dedication to excellence Relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset
Required Experience Must have 5+ years’ experience in the heavy equipment field, supplemented with 3-5 years' experience in a progressively responsible management role Proven product support background and understanding of the departmental operations
