The Procurement Management Office (PMO) is a newly created office within Service BC that will lead a major procurement project for the Provincial Contact Center. Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field AND a minimum of 3 years of *recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education or experience may be considered.
*RECENT RELATED EXPERIENCE MUST INCLUDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING
Experience collaborating effectively with partners and stakeholders to initiate or influence policies or programs. Experience managing multiple projects or leading a component (e.g., sub-project) of a major project. Experience in conducting research and analysis of quantitative and/or qualitative information to support the development of policy or the evaluation of programs. Experience leading staff.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
Procurement experience. Formal training in project management methodology.
