Job Description

Qualifications & Job Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent Completion of Level 1 Payroll Management Certificate (Canadian Payroll Association) plus at least one year of recent computerized payroll experience in a 100+ employee payroll or a minimum of five years’ experience as a Payroll Clerk in a 100+ employee payroll Current working knowledge of Income Tax Act, Employment Insurance Act, Pension Act, Workers' Compensation Act, benefits and office routines Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with employees, staff and agencies

Salary for the above listed position(s) will be in accordance with Schedule "A" of the Collective Agreement in effect between the Board of Education and Local 1285, Canadian Union of Public Employees. Appointments are subject to Section 15, 16 and 17 of the Collective Agreement.
