Job Description
The Greater Trail Hospice Society (GTHS) provides a variety of services to the Greater Trail area. In addition to end-of-life respite we provide grief support, caregiver support, Friendly Visitors and Nav CARE. We also have a children's grief support group. Our values and culture believe that everyone should have a good life at all stages of their life.
The casual office position would be under the direction of the Care Co-ordinator who would provide direction regarding office procedures and protocol. This position would also provide coverage in the Care Co-ordinator's absence.
This is not a remote position. The successful candidate would have extensive office experience and understand working in a highly confidential environment. They must be able to work with two other employees in a small space. An understanding of hospice and its role in the community would be an asset.
The hours would be somewhat flexible depending on work load as assigned by the Care Co-ordinator.
This is an inclusive position.
The minimum hours of work would be 5 hours/week. The rate of pay is $18.00 per hour plus vacation pay of 4%
