Position Summary

IH is seeking a dynamic permanent full time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a small team of NPs to provide comprehensive all ages primary care at the Waneta Primary Care Clinic in Trail BC. The Waneta clinic services an established panel of people as well as offering attachment. Working alongside two other NPs, a RN, SW, OT, PT and MOAs your initial focus will be on collaborating with various community agencies and multidisciplinary health services in the delivery of comprehensive, holistic patient centered health care that is delivered in a culturally safe manner. The goals of these services are to increase availability, access and continuity of primary care services to all ages including vulnerable populations.


• Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). • Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) • Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience • Valid Driver’s License

In accordance with Section 41 of the BC Human Rights Code and Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, preference will be given to qualified candidates with Aboriginal Ancestry.
