Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking to expand the Medical Imaging team in the Kootenay Boundary Health Service Area and invite applications from Medical Radiography Technologists (MRTs).

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. There is an option to work in more than one Interior Health site within surrounding communities including Castlegar, Grand Forks, Nakusp, Nelson and New Denver.

What Will You Work On? Medical Imaging staff at KBRH work with a broad demographic of patients in both inpatient (ER, OR, ICU) and outpatient (cast clinic) settings by providing imaging for Trauma (ER), OR procedures, Fluoroscopy, and General XRAY procedures.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
