Job Description

Monashee Medical Clinic is looking for a part-time (could be F/T with the right fit) Office Manager for a busy family practice clinic. We have a fun and supportive work team and can offer schedule flexibility.

Skill Requirements:

• You have strong organizational skill and enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. You are a self-starter, quick learner and have the ability to problem solve. You have exceptional people skills and can communicate effectively both orally and in writing (typing speed min. 40 wpm).

• You have leadership/supervisory experience for dealing with staff, physicians and patients.

• You have experience with, office procedures, HR, accounting and technology troubleshooting. Experience working within the health system and with medical billing are an asset.

Job Description:

The role is diverse and includes the following functions:

• Basic HR functions

• Supervision of staff & making clinic decisions when needed

• IT troubleshooting for clinic technology (we do have a back up IT contract specialist)

• Office procedures and administration

• Basic accounting tasks (we do have a contract bookkeeper and accountant)

• Medical Billing (can be outsourced)

• Assuming MOA and other clinic roles as required – no day is ever the same!

• Many patients seen in the clinic are vulnerable so candidates are expected to be vaccinated for COVID 19.

• Wage range is $24 -$27 per hour depending on experience. No benefits package but a very flexible work schedule and a fun positive team to work with.
