Job Description
Responsible for providing leadership, technical support, and advice for all human resources functions.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the position is responsible for leadership, technical support, and advice for all human resources functions including, recruitment, job evaluation/classification, training and development, employee relations, and union relations. The role requires exceptional relationship-building skills and an ability to quickly establish credibility, trust, and presence across all departments in the City.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in human resources, business administration, management, psychology, or a related discipline together with two to five years of progressive experience in a public sector or unionized environment.
