Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical/Instrumentation
Opportunity exists immediately for safety committed Maintenance Supervisors, reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance, to lead our multi-trade maintenance crews and contribute to our steady improvement in reliability and productivity.
Provide leadership and promote best practices and procedures for the assigned crew. Ensure compliance in terms of safety, environment, quality, continuous improvement, and reliability. Contribute technical expertise as required as well as coordinate with Maintenance Planners and the Production business area. Engage crew to foster ownership, financial stewardship, and proactivity. Education and Experience
Technical background in either Electrical/Instrumentation disciplines (ie, Red Seal, C. Tech, C.E.T., or B. Eng) Minimum 2-3 years’ supervisory experience in industrial, unionized environments. Experience with and knowledge of maintenance best practices including preventative and predictive maintenance. Demonstrated ability with employee training and development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of dealing with conflict management.
