Trail Operations is an integrated lead-zinc smelting and refining complex located in Southeastern BC. Trail Operations has over 26 different operating plants and processes concentrates and other materials from around the world to produce more than 290,000 TPY of refined zinc and 70,000 TPY of refined lead.

Reporting to the Group Leader, Mobile Lift, the Journeyperson Instrument Mechanic is responsible the below.

Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail. British, Columbia. Relocation assistance will be offered however there is no camp or company housing.

Responsibilities:

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures

• Install, calibrate, repair and maintain field instrumentation and final control elements

• Perform in a team-oriented environment of maintenance peers

Qualifications:

• Inter-Provincial Red Seal Endorsement (please upload copy of certification with your application)
• Knowledge of Foxboro and ABB Systems would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of Modicon PLC’s and Wonderware HMI’s
• WHIMIS certification
• Experience in an industrial environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Will be required to participate in an assessment process designed to measure fitness, aptitudes and personal attributes.
