KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel to customer locations to repair and maintain heavy duty equipment. Analyze customers’ equipment performance complaints, diagnose cause of any malfunctions and performs repairs. Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain required parts. Inspect equipment to assess if further safety or service work is required or recommended. Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Test equipment as required. Maintain company service truck, ensuring it is kept clean and in good repair.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

As a member of the Summit team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician ticket Experience in logging and forestry heavy equipment repairs Class 5 driver’s licence and clean abstract Team player who can share his knowledge by teaching and coaching junior Mechanics Strong communication skills
