Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Instruct learners as assigned, in all areas of the Plant Operator Program and related Industry training requirements. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

High school graduation or equivalent Experience as a multi-skilled Plant Operator or relevant Trades Qualification or certification as a 4th Class Power Engineer with a minimum of nine (9) years of industry experience Computer literacy in word processing, electronic mail and appropriate software applications Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset Teaching Certificate or Provincial Instructional Diploma is an asset Demonstrated curriculum development skills is an asset This is a non-regular, relief position commencing August 19, 2022. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the BCGEU Collective Agreement. The salary range is $2,416.46 - $3,882.99 bi-weekly (at a 100% appointment) and is based on qualifications and experience.
