Responsibilities of the position involve providing personal care for a senior with multiple sclerosis.

• Assist with transfers to and from wheelchair using one person transfers or mechanical lift
• Provide assistance with bathing, personal hygiene and exercises
• Complete household chores, light house cleaning, meal preparation and shopping
• Drive to and from medical appointments and outings. An adaptive vehicle that is wheelchair assessible will be provided.

Requirements

• A valid drivers’ license.
• Care Aide Certification is not a requirement.

Job Specifics

Wage- $28.00 per hour Location: Home in Fruitvale

Shifts : Hours of work are flexible. Possibility to work dayshifts, afternoon/evening shifts through dinner hour and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts. (Weekly schedule to be determined with applicant.)
