Position Description
Mercer Celgar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering team as a Fixed Asset Integrity Engineer.
Core Responsibilities
- Audit, update and develop fixed asset integrity management plans to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Audit, update and develop fixed asset design standards.
- Identify and lead fixed asset inspections.
- Support production, maintenance and project teams as the fixed asset subject matter expert.
- Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions.
- Provide input to long term and annual business plans.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered with a Canadian Engineering Association (EGBC, APEGA, PEO, etc.) as a P.Eng. or EIT.
- Several years experience in the fixed asset integrity area with knowledge of best practices.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate work activities with input from a wide cross-section of individuals within the organization.
- Familiarity with NBIC, API, and ASME codes and standards.

- The Salary Range for this position is $100,354.00 – $150,530.00 depending on experience and qualifications.
