
Financial Coordinator
Job Description
Working in close partnership with the Executive Director and the agency’s External Accountant, the Financial Coordinator’s skills, expertise, and actions support the agency in achieving best practices in financial management and remaining responsive to the ever-changing needs of youth and families in the West Kootenay Boundary.
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities
Education
Degree or Diploma in Business Administration Training in standard accounting practices Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in accounting/bookkeeping Experience with software such as Sage 50, Payworks, and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive) Experience working within the social services Experience working within a non-profit Experience working for an agency that relies heavily on technology Experience working alongside worldviews that are not their own Other Requirements
