Executive Assistant - City of Castlegar
Responsible for providing a broad range of executive administrative support for the Chief Administrative Officer and Mayor.
Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Executive Assistant is responsible for high-level, day-to-day effective communications in the CAO and Mayor Office. Drafting correspondence & reports along with coordinating and preparing all relevant information for internal/external meetings are a key responsibility for this position. The Executive Assistant also supports communications when required and coordinates travel and expenses for the CAO and Council.
Qualifications The successful candidate will have post-secondary training in Office Administration, Business Administration or related fields, together with a minimum of five years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
