We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer in Training, Compliance to join our team. Join our team and kick-start your career contributing to the reliability and security of our organization's operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position will also provide project management support for reliability and compliance-focused, owner-led initiatives in the facilities. The incumbent will be supervised by mentors in Engineering and Compliance roles to support the completion of their P.Eng. designation.

The Engineer in Training, Compliance focuses on ensuring adherence to Mandatory Reliability Standards (MRS), Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards, and participates in responding to audits in accordance with the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) guidelines.

The incumbent will work with the compliance team to support compliance efforts, minimize risk and maintain the security and reliability of the organization’s operations. This position will also provide project management support for reliability and compliance-focused, owner-led initiatives in the facilities. The incumbent will be supervised by mentors in Engineering and Compliance roles to support the completion of their P.Eng. designation. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Compliance, and is based out of the Castlegar Office
