Competition # 22-T-02 (Reposted) 0.2 FTE District Elementary Counsellor Temporary: Immediately to March 18, 2022 or full return of the incumbent NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date or it may be extended. The FTE of the assignment may also be adjusted throughout the assignment based on the incumbent's return.


BC Certification with Bachelor of Education Degree Master’s degree in Counselling Previous successful experience in Counselling required Must be familiar with Inter-ministerial social agency protocols Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Must be experienced at working in a collaborative team setting Training in Suicide Risk Assessment and care plans An understanding of counselling supports through a Response to Intervention lens

Note: The successful candidate will require a valid driver’s license and vehicle.
