
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the position of Customer Service Representative for the Salmo Recreation Department! Duties include: administrative tasks such as collecting admission fees and processing program registrations while providing a high level of service to Salmo Recreation patrons and performing various functions to support the safe operation of the Fitness Center.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent Standard First Aid Satisfactory Criminal Record Check Demonstrated experience providing exemplary customer service Experience with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook Cash handling experience Proven leadership skills Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and staff, using tact and diplomacy Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and be an effective team player
This is a part-time auxiliary as and when needed position and schedules will be based on program requirements. Applicants should be available to work a varied work schedule of approximately 13.5 hours per week which includes day, weekend and/or evening shifts.
Typical shifts may include:
Monday 3:45pm—8:15pm
Wednesday 3:45pm—8:15pm
Saturday 6:15am—10:30am
