Job Description
Responsibilities
Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates
Supervision 1 to 2 people
Credentials
Certificates, licenses', memberships, and courses Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge Computer-aided design (CAD) MS Office
