Supervisor, Administrative Services-Provincial Profiling Team Clerk R15

The Service Delivery Division provides income and disability assistance services online, by phone, or face to face in our communities. We strive to ensure our services are reliable, responsive, inclusive and accessible to all British Columbians who need our support. The Community Services Branch delivers programs and services through both community and integration services to clients across the province.

Together with a co-lead, the Provincial Profiling Team Supervisor of Administrative Services (PPT SAS) is responsible for the virtual supervision of approximately 20 centralized staff in the coordination of the province’s profiling and inter-branch administrative support services. The PPT SAS coordinates the development of provincial profiling protocols between the division’s various work units while adapting to their specific needs and rapidly changing priorities in a high-volume environment.

Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

Secondary school graduation or equivalent. Experience providing administrative and/or financial support services for a group of staff. Client service experience responding to inquiries and resolving /de-escalating issues in a timely manner. Experience delivering training/coaching and providing direction to staff. Experience using Microsoft Office software (Ie. Excel, Outlook, Word, etc).

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

Experience in leave administration. Experience using computer web-based applications, financial systems, company payroll/time keeping/scheduling etc. Experience with direct supervision, including scheduling and allocating work duties. Experience managing employee performance and change management. Experience delivering services in a social services environment.
