School District No. 20 (Kootenay-Columbia) is looking for casual employees for the On-Call List for Inclusion Support Employees (Education Assistants, Child Care Workers and Child and Youth Care Workers). Casual staff can expect to work 3 to 5 days a week; however, casual work cannot be guaranteed. Individuals looking to work in a rewarding team environment all across our School District (Rossland, Trail, Fruitvale, Castlegar, Robson) with the likelihood of attaining a permanent position in the future should apply immediately!

Qualifications • Completion of Classroom and Community Support Worker Program, Special Education Assistant Certificate, Special Needs Worker Program or equivalent training and experience.

Job Details • Rate of Pay: Ranges from $26.59/hr + 13.4% in lieu of benefits = $30.15/hr to $27.84/hr + 13.4% in lieu of benefits = $31.57/hr • Inclusion Support Employees have winter break, spring break and summers off!
