Job Description


The Bilingual Customer Service and Insurance Representative is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing telephone and email inquiries from customers with an outstanding level of service. The representative will update and maintain data to ensure the accuracy of current insurance coverage provided by the client. This position includes administrative paperwork related to customer insurance coverages and conducts timely, effective maintenance of this information.


Create an excellent customer service experience and increase customer satisfaction:

  • Respond to and solve customer questions and complaints in a professional and prompt manner
  • Build and maintain positive relations with team members and customers by acting in a respectful and effective manner
  • Respond to and follow up with customer and insurance broker inquiries with accurate information and update insurance documentation as required
  • Escalate customer service problems to the appropriate team member

Manage all required administrative documentation related to current insurance coverage on customer accounts:

  • Obtain and process initial and changed insurance coverage documents via mail and email
  • Track and record all transaction and adjustments on customer insurance coverages
  • Coordinate paperwork and required information with a high level of accuracy and organization

Respond to and solve customer questions and inquiries in a professional and prompt manner:

  • Build and maintain positive relations with team members and customers by acting in a respectful and effective manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries with accurate information and update insurance information as required
  • Follow up with customers to gain missing insurance information and settle customer questions

Review accounts on a regular basis to ensure insurance coverages are valid:

  • Conduct prompt and courteous telephone calls and follow up on accounts that do not have sufficient insurance coverage
  • Verify and update customer information and keep customer records updated in the system
  • Accurately document all customer contacts and outcome in the notes on the account

  • You thrive in an environment that involves multitasking and changing priorities
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • 2+ years of previous Customer Service experience is required
  • Experience in the auto finance and leasing industry is an asset
  • Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree is an asset
  • Fully fluent in English and French

Salary: From $42,000.00 per year
