Job Description

Working in close partnership with the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant’s skills, expertise, and actions support the agency in remaining responsive to the ever-changing needs of youth and families in the West Kootenay Boundary.

Knowledge Skills, and Abilities

Education

Certificate or Diploma in Social Sciences, Health, Humanities, or Business Administration; or other relevant discipline. High School Diploma may be accepted if the individual has an interest in acquiring further education in Social Sciences, Health, Humanities, or Business Administration; or other relevant discipline. Experience

One year of experience providing direct administrative support to leadership (preferred) Experience working within the Social Services (preferred) Experience working within a non-profit (preferred) Experience working for an agency that relies heavily on technology (preferred) Experience working alongside worldviews that are not their own (required) Other Requirements
